Welcome to TULIP Mania, where Reformed theology, history, and personal interests intersect. I’m Mifflin Dove Jr., a native Texan who grew up in Corpus Christi. My journey has taken me through the worlds of accounting and theology, earning a degree in accounting from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia.
I’m an elder at Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Katy, Texas, where I’m deeply engaged in the church’s life. I also serve as the treasurer of the Presbytery of the Gulf South in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. When I’m not working in ministry, I’m the managing member of Dove Bookkeeping LLC, a practice dedicated to helping churches and nonprofits maintain financial integrity.
Beyond my professional and theological pursuits, I am passionate about history, genealogy, astronomy, photography, and numismatics. I also enjoy playing guitar, collecting knives, and savoring pipe-smoking art—earning a Consumer Tobacconist Certification from Tobacconist University.
TULIP Mania reflects my love for Jesus Christ and Reformed theology and its profound impact on faith and culture. Whether you’re here for theological reflections, historical insights, or personal musings, I hope you find this space enriching and thought-provoking.
Thanks for stopping by!
